BENEVOLENT FUND RULES
1.
The Fund will be administered by 2 LMC Members.
2. All Clubs shall be
members of the Benevolent Fund, which will cover the Personal
Accident Insurance of players within the League.
3.
Contributions to the
Fund will be paid as part of League Fees.
4.
Cover is for 6 weeks
only, except for the first 7 days.
5.
Only matches authorised by the League/Manchester FA will be covered.
6. Cover is for 16
players on match days.
7.
Claims Forms (including Medical Section) must be fully completed and
returned within 7 days, and the injury must be notified to the
League or Benevolent Fund Secretary within 3 days of the match.
8.
Medical Certificates must be sent at regular intervals to the
Benevolent
Fund Secretary.
9.
Players claiming Unemployment Benefit will not be eligible to claim
from the Benevolent Fund.
10.
The LMC will only deal with the Club Secretary.
Any
loss of benefit
caused by the failure of
a Club Official to comply with the rules, will be the responsibility
of the Club and not the League.
